Are Okie (oklahoma) women accepting of southern men?

Ok, so I'm not your stereotypical "the cable guy" southern "redneck" in terms of my dress and whatnot. However, I do sound unmistakably southern in my dialect. I am contemplating a transfer to OU in order to be closer to family and due to better job opportunities in TX upon graduation. I currently live in CO's second largest city and its almost impossible for anybody to date here because this is mainly a military town and a large majority of folks who move here are already married. I am a military vet myself so its nothing personal against our servicemen. Its just the nature of the beast when it comes to predominately military towns. This city used to be a nice balance between military and IT, but all of the IT industries closed up shop and left town and now its all just military. Anyway, since Oklahoma is neither the south nor the midwest and is really "Native America", do you all think that I would stand a better chance of fitting in, making friends, and possibly meeting a good woman there vs here in CO? Oh yeah, since living here I have personally heard native Coloradoans talk s*** about Texans which really irks me because most of the Texans that I have met are just as nice as people from GA, TN, NC, etc are.
