� How do Christians view suffering and persecution?

I don't know what happens to other country's, how they might be persecuted, but I don't see anyone here going through anything like you hear in history about it. The Bible says that those who will live a Godly life life will suffer persecution. There might be that day coming when the new order might put a gun to your head and ask you if you believe, but for now, I wonder if people are living in a way that would invoke these things to come upon them? This R?S to me is not persecution.
