Why do people make fun of Canada?

I love Canada and I wish I lived there. As an American, I don't think that you worship us at all. That must be something Canadians tend to believe themselves. As for the "make fun of" part. It may be partially because of the accent, but we do that to everyone, including ourselves. Like a New York accent, Boston accent, or a southern accent (which I have, being from Texas). Maybe its partially because most Canadians are white, and being so, when we poke fun, no one screams racism like they would from other countries. I don't know, that last one is just a guess.
